Darkness of Lulu and Naturescorpse invite you to experience a truly unique union of music
and emotion that firmly fits into the catagory Ambient Metal.

Hailing from the United Kingdom, the haunting and serene melodies of Decido Requiem flow
like soothing rain, sending pleasant shivers down one's spine as the notes cresendo and wane
with the rise and fall of a full moon. The vocals are indeed haunting, yet beautiful and swollen
with gentle sorrow.

The powerful duo, Naturescorpse and Darkness of Lulu (Doll), write their music to capture
their inner sanctuary, and do so with an ethereal splender. Laced into the notes of Decido
Requiem is a want to soothe and settle the forgotten.

Naturescorpse - Music and Vocals

The pair, and the heart of both, are large enough to blow any similar band out of the water.
Powerful talent takes this band and rockets it to hold place at the very top of what Ambient
Metal is destined to be.

To remind the now-passed that they are never truly gone, Decido Requiem asks this
of their fans, and any whom possesses enough heart:

Take a small trip to a local cemetary. Look amongst the headstones and find the most
desolate, forgotten one. Upon this place a single flower.

This simple act, quiet and thunderous simultaneously, sums up Decido Requiem.

Decido Requiem asks that you take a picture of this, with yourself in the picture. The minor act
demonstrates your selflessness and care of those forgotten. In Decido Requiem's eyes, everyone
deserves to know and feel love, even if their bodies are no longer drawing breath.

Power. Beauty. Sorrow. Thought-provoking.

The Ying and the Yang from the UK darkness! Sometimes, the Lord's paths are rough: deserts must be
crossed, thugs must be avoided, water must be cared for drop by drop. It has taken time but, at last,
Decido Requiem's demo came to us crossing all these obstacles. It has travelled a great distance from the
British Isles to reach this mountainous and dusty village.

To begin with, I'll tell you that thanks to the Internet Decido Requiem is one of those bands that
we can get to know sooner than if we had to wait for them to be officially released under a
record label or other means whatsoever.

A nicely presented CD, it includes no less than informative handouts, stickers and pics. It seems
these guys take it seriously and they spare no expenses to make known their project.

For the time being, they are a duo: it´s a two persons project who appear to complement each
other as Ying and Yang.

They're working on their next EP release, looking for a record label and distribution, working
hard day by day for a full-length Cd to come... but, what does Decido Requiem offer?

We find two songs in this demo, 'Windswept' and 'Crowed Room'. When you listen to it for the
first time you realize this is not a five-members, "conventional" band and thus you could think
that something's missing, but let's go more into it. At the beginning, we sense a dense
atmosphere, a slow rhythm, all present but never saturating synth basis... Perhaps some
forcefullness and intensity are needed, at least in Windswept. In this track, Darkness of Lulu's
voice carries the main burden of the melody, and she does it perfectly fine. Naturescorpse
follows a slow rhythm in return.

In 'Crowed Room', however, the melody shifts to a fastest beat which is noticeable from the
beginning. Being more slow and atmospheric, it may be said that 'Windswept' has less
instrumental shades in comparison to 'Crowed Room', where the guitar sounds more crystal clear
and Naturescorpse's voice acquires a more interesting modulation. It would be nevertheless
necessary to get a clearest sound in Darkness of Lulu's voice for it sounds somehow distant and
sometimes disrupted.

As far as the overall evaluation is concerned, it's a good start for this duo project but for their
future records it would be nice if they included a wider range of musical shades in order to
endow their repertoire with a more diverse sound from track to track. It's true this is a demo
with just two songs in it and that there's a full-length album on its way where they will surely be
able to develop their ideas more extensively.

At the moment, we are expecting! The concept is good, the effort is felt, the idea is there, many
bands started as a duo and ended up being great standards. We expect Decido Requiem to evolve
and progress to a more elaborate sound, with new sound nuances from song to song and richest
vocal variations. Finally, if they ever come to be a "conventional" band to deploy all this much
better, for the principal idea underneath is very appealing.

Go for it, Decido Requiem!

This demo contains 2 tracks from Lincolnshire Goth Rock duo Naturescorpse and Darkness of lulu
(AKA Doll). The use of Male and Female vocals is something that is being employed by more and
more bands nowadays and it is also the case here.

Unlike some bands they manage to pull it off and their voices work well together. The first track
'Wind Swept' is a very haunting and emotionally fueled piece, quite beautiful and full of melancholy at
the same time. The next track 'Crowded Room' is much more of a dance floor goth song.

I'm looking forward to hearing this band employing better production values and possibly a bigger line
up in future to give them a bigger sound, as I think that all the foundations are there to make
Decido Requiem a force to be reckoned with.

Some years later, we have the same the story. From some time to now, the existence of demos and
auto-productions is a great occasion to listen something different and “new”. It is hard to find absolutely
new discoveries but, as it happened in the past, we still have the possibility of listening something different
to what the small and big mass media are still pressing.

Decido Requiem (an English duo from Stamford) follows this rule. They play a sort of musical cocktail with
all the elements to be considered as a “dark”. This “ESP” is a home made production full of fantasy and
personality with synthetic atmosphere, nice lows and interesting guitar insertions from wave to gothic. The
themes are more addressed to instrumental atmosphere than voice (that it sounds more like a in a hurry spoken
word, such as Lycia just to have an idea) and they transform a minimalist sound sober and dark enough in an
artistic expression. To become crazy for Decido Requien, definitively not; but we can at least listen something
individualistic and not dictated by the (sad) trends of this moment. If you want to see a more restricted meaning
of the “dark” term, have a look in myspace for Decido Requiem. Music to be listened in darkness.

A couple of months ago, if I remember well, I received a Demo of this English duo and I now have in my dirty room
the EP with five themes. I am ready to tell you something about them. Found in the cyber World, swimming in the depths
of the web, we found one of the numerous underground bands asking for some attention from the avid ears of listeners
wishing to see what is up in the smallest corner of the planet!.

Listening this Ep I am wondering on the conventionalisms of the bands. Yes, this seems to be about the quality of the band
depending on the number of their members. Yes, probably a duo can do it by itself depending on the genre and it could
work. But certainly, it is not the same And One and Terrino indeed!

Under the name of Decido Réquiem there are, by the moment, two persons, the same two that have created the concept.
When speaking about a Demo it is usually understood a bad quality work, when speaking about Ep it seems that the group
is going well. This is the case.

Sometimes a simple sound is not appreciated. In some cases, ambient music is not considered enough for many, but it tells
a lot for many others, more open-minded. What we are introducing is not exactly Ambient but in any case very atmospheric.
And what could be the difference between one and the other? I would say that my definition is near the Gothic Rock groups
denser, slow, heavy, and definitively atmospheric.

Please note that atmospheric does not always mean slow and heavy but it has always to show a considerable density in
sound creating, metaphorically speaking, some sensations.

It is usually understood that new names and definitions are built up in order to mask a bad work. This is not the case. Well I
tell you that the songs you are about to listen, are quite lineal. It is maybe a group needing time to grow up a bit and to go to
a less monotonous sound in their songs.

Ok let’s go to the point! We here present: 'Windswept', 'In the fall', 'Link the Ink', 'I don’t care', 'Crowded room' and a
hidden cut as an instrumental end.

“Windswept” and “Crowed room” are two songs also from the Demo, the rest f of the material are a bit different from these.

'Windswept' opens the Ep and is not bad, although too slow. The guitar effect is almost tiring and there are no voices play
giving a more vivid effect, and this is maybe the point of the question on how producing this kind of music without sating.

'Crowded room' is, however, completely different, voices interact very well ant it has a very well constructed rhythm. You
will not be tired and although it is not exceptional, is an acceptable song.

I would like to say clearly that this project is well constructed, mainly if we listen the new songs 'In the fall', 'Link the ink'
'I don’t care'. ' In the fall' a more quick song, with a better six strings sound, has a good vocal sync.

I think that 'Link the ink' and 'I don’t care' are, both, the guide this duo has to follow. We can see in them a not very far
future in which it would be convenient to increase these small shades or variations like a refreshing guitar, surfing on the
melody and even some sound effects like in 'Link the ink' cover the rest of the instruments producing the immediate
generation of images in our psychedelic brain.

'I don’t care', next to the end, shows a ray of light in its composing structure, better indeed, and in this one, I appreciate a
clear influence of The Mission.

Well, this is all we have to share with you about this band of the British Islands. I you are one of those anxious looking
constantly for new bands, you have here one of them to consider.

Briefly, nothing new, some shortages quite normal in the beginnings, a considerable bettering from the Demo, a clear effort to
better and offer a future gothic rock knocking at your door. If this group grows up, you will certainly know them!

Blessed those listeners paying attention because they will see the light in a deserted sea where the dust is covering many ears
by a supreme decision of God!

Decido Requiem are Naturescorpse and Darkness of Lulu who are partners in life as well as Decido Requiem and that
really shows with the tightness of this five track EP. There is a real vampire and gothic vibe going on thoughout the five
tracks and lovers of real traditional goth music will be instant fans of this duo, their respect for the genre is very evident
and their sincerity is full-on.

Slightly reminiscent of the Sisterhood but perhaps still learning their craft to be linked with an established and respected figure
from the eighties heyday of Goth.

Decido Requiem are definitely worth the price of this EP so treat yourself - you will be transformed, believe me.

A five-track demo from a Stamford-based brace of morose miscreants, this is darkwave living up to its name.
Gloomier than a wet afternoon in Skegness, 'ESP' is certainly an acquired taste - a two-person show Decido
Requiem may be, but they're no Devilish Presley, snaping ominous soundscapes that could well score the
apocalypse, but ultimately suffer from a real air of sameyness.

The EP grows and matures as it advances, and by the time we reach 'I Don't Care' it's an appealing
listen, but for some it will be too little to late; even at less than twenty minutes, at time this EP feels
slightly stretched.

You know you're in the presence of uber-goths when the band biog begins by relating the night the members
firt met - in a graveyard!. When not hanging out with the dead the gloomy duo of ' Naturescorpse' and 'Doll'
construct minimal, bleakly atmopheric soundscapes, characterized by their ghostly dual vocals.

These early experiments certainly contain some interesting ideas but, not helped by some lackluster
production, they feel somewhat unfinished. At this stage these are more fragments than fully realized songs
but bode well for the future.
